Spain is one of the most visited European countries by tourists during the summer months, which is not surprising considering the many advantages of spending a holiday in our country: good gastronomy, lively atmosphere, magnificent beaches, good hotels and all at a very affordable price if you know how to look for them.
If you are a lover of tourism in Spain, the best way to get to know its coasts is to take a route around the area. On previous occasions we have already recommended routes in the north and south, and today it’s the turn of the beautiful eastern part of the country.
The eastern part of Spain is bathed by the Mediterranean in the regions of Murcia, Valencia and Catalonia, so don’t miss out on some of the beaches to visit!
There are three Catalan coastal provinces: Tarragona, Girona and the cosmopolitan Barcelona. We recommend you visit the beaches of Sitges or Castelldefels (Barcelona), Platja Llarga and Platja Fonda or Waikiki (Tarragona) and, among the dozens of charming beaches on the Costa Brava, the beaches of Cala Giverola in Tossa de Mar or Platja Gran in Castell-Platja d’Aro.
La BahĂa de la Concha in Oropesa del Mar (touristy and with good services), RacĂł del Conil, Les Cases, Cala Moraig, the main beach in GandĂa or Platja Nord in PeñĂscola are some of the beaches on the Valencian coast that are most worth visiting in our opinion.
Finally, in Murcia you will find beautiful and charming coastlines in Calblanque, La Manga, Los Cocedores, Bolnuevo or El PortĂșs, for example.
Start in the northern or southern community, depending on your geographical area, and make the most of your days… There is so much to see!
