What would you think if you could not only sunbathe and take a refreshing dip on the beach, but also improve the appearance and health of your skin? Fantastic, isn’t it? Well, it is possible if you visit one of those beaches where you can enjoy a natural mud bath. It seems that mud helps to improve the smoothness of the skin, leaving it softer and younger; and relieves muscle tension, inflammation and arthritis.
Today we want to tell you about some of these beaches where you can take a mud bath. We’re going to focus on one of the most beautiful islands in our country: Majorca. Would you like to join us?
Es Canyeret
Also known as Llucalcari, the small cove of Es Canyeret is very popular with nudists. In addition, many people make use of the puddles formed by a freshwater spring to take mud baths. It is surrounded by pine and olive trees and has crystal-clear waters that invite you to take a dip.
Other beaches in the Balearic Islands
Unfortunately, Es Canyaret is currently the only beach in Mallorca where you can take mud baths, at least as far as we know. However, you will find other magical places in the Balearic Islands. In Minorca, for example, you will find Playa de Algaiarens, Cala Pilar or Playa de CavellerĂa. We told you about all of them in an article published in July. In Formentera, meanwhile, you can enjoy the huge mud lagoon in the centre of the island at Espalmador. In Ibiza you will also find different alternatives for a mud bath on the beach. Cala Xarraca, AigĂŒes Blanques and Sa Caleta are some good options.
