Murcia is one of the most successful coastal autonomous regions of the peninsula, probably due to the quality of its beaches as well as the pleasant and active atmosphere that is breathed in most of them as well as in its surroundings.
In fact, along the coast you can find all kinds of beaches, from the most isolated and almost virgin to the busiest urban beaches, as well as those that are specially designed for nudists.
Here is a quick tour of some of the most popular naturist beaches… Try to remember their names!
– Calblanque or Playa Larga: It is located in the natural park of the same name, so access to the beautiful golden sandy beach must be on foot from the nearest car park.
– Las Cañas: A very quiet beach in the same Regional Park as above, specifically in front of the very urbanised Manga del Mar Menor.
– Parreño: Ideal for lovers of more natural and isolated beaches. This beach of light golden dunes is a perfect place to relax and unwind; don’t forget your bottle of water and your sandwich because you won’t find any kind of service.
– Cala de las Mulas: A beautiful beach that can be reached by an easy but heavy rocky path.
– Piedra de los Lobos: This is one of the most popular in Murcia, among other things because it is well signposted and easy to find. Although the sand combined with pebbles is not the most comfortable, it is worth going to the beach to take a dip in its clean and crystal clear waters.
There is a much wider variety of nudist beaches, although some of them are not so beautiful, comfortable or clean to be recommended… This is the case of Covaticas, Cala Leño, Parazuelos or Cala Desnuda, for example.
