Alcudia Beach
Playa de Alcudia or Platja d’AlcĂșdia is known for its size, beauty and tranquillity. Located about three kilometres from the municipality that gives it its name, it is in the Bay of AlcĂșdia; right in the stretch located next to the urbanisations of Playas de Alcudia and Lago Esperanza. If you visit this beach, reserve part of the day for a visit to the ruins of Pollentia, a Roman city from the 2nd century BC. The sandy beach is about 2 kilometres long and 50 metres wide, and its fine white sand combines with the clear, calm waters to form a spectacular beach.
Muro Beach
Located to the south of Playa de Alcudia, in the bay of the same name, Playa de Muro is even bigger than its neighbour: it is a total of five kilometres long, with more than enough space to accommodate all holidaymakers. It is a perfect beach for sunbathing, swimming and pleasant strolls through the groves that surround it and the dunes that border it. It has a Blue Flag and is located in the area of Es ComĂș de Muro, a virgin area that belongs to the Natural Park of s’Albufera.
Marçal Cove
This beautiful beach belongs to the municipality of Felanitx and is known above all for its transparent and calm waters. It is a very quiet beach that has all the services: sun loungers and parasols for rent, boats… Moreover, it is one of the most prestigious beaches as far as lifeguard and lifeguard service is concerned. Its wide sandy esplanade is perfect for children’s games and sports for young and old alike. Its easy access makes it the family beach par excellence in Mallorca.
