There are many ways to make the most of the last hours of the day but, without a doubt, one of the best is to contemplate the sunset from a beautiful beach. Luckily, those of us who live in Spain have the opportunity to enjoy this intense and precious moment from different parts of the peninsula.
Today on this website we would like to recommend some of the best beaches in our country for watching the sunset. Will you join us?
Caños de Meca, Cadiz
We would like to begin by talking about Caños de Meca, CĂĄdiz, from where you will be able to contemplate a real spectacle. In fact, many people flock here in summer to see how the sun disappears behind the Atlantic. There are many places in Los Caños de Meca from where you can watch the sunset: next to the Trafalgar Lighthouse, in La Jaima, on the beaches of Zahora…
Comte cove, Ibiza
There are many beaches in Ibiza that offer a beautiful sunset, but today we are going to focus on one of them: Cala Comte. In summer, when it is time for the sun to set, many people gather on the sand to watch this spectacle. The luckiest ones enjoy the sunset on their yachts.
Liencres, Cantabria
Another beach that should not be missing from this list is Liencres, which is located in the Liencres Dunes Nature Reserve. The dunes and rock formations are the perfect accompaniment for watching the sunset.
Finisterre, Galicia
Finally, we would like to talk about Cape Finisterre. Although it is not a beach, but a cape located in A Coruña, as well as a municipality, it is one of the best places in Spain and the world to watch the sunset. Many pilgrims still come here to burn their clothes, a sign of renewal.
Do you recommend any other beach from which to watch the sunset? We look forward to hearing your suggestions!
