Beaches in sant feliu de guixols

The Costa Brava is one of Spain’s sun and beach destinations par excellence. Not only does it combine the best of the Mediterranean climate with beaches of excellent quality, but it also offers all kinds of settings, from the most hidden corners to the most atmospheric beaches.

This is exactly the case of Sant Feliu de GuĂxols, a town in the Girona area that offers everything you expect and more for a complete holiday.
So that you don’t get bored going to the same beach every day, here are some of the most popular ones in this Catalan city:

– Sant Feliu: It is the main beach, so it has a long promenade along its 400 metres full of bars, restaurants, hotels and shops. Its fine golden sand makes it a pleasure to spend a day here.

– Sant Pol: Despite not being the beach that has the same name as the town itself, Sant Pol is a beach more than twice as long as the previous one, with 870 metres of golden sand that is quite crowded during the peak summer months. In its surroundings you will find an enormous and varied offer of leisure and services.

– Canyerets: It is the opposite of the previous ones, not only because it is only 180 metres long, but also because it is surrounded by a mountainous environment that distances it from the large urban centres and makes it more peaceful.

– Cala Castell: This beach is one of the most unspoilt on the Costa Brava and has even been protected by the Ministry of the Environment. It is only accessible on foot.

Other beaches in the area are Las Barcas beach, Cala Ametller, Cala del VigatĂ , Can Dell or Cala Jonca, for example.
