Cadiz is a province that has many people in love, and not only thanks to its capital, with many places worth discovering, including its beaches, but also because of the different localities that can be found throughout the length and breadth of the territory.
Today we are going to focus on Tarifa, a coastal town that has become one of the main tourist centres in the province, among other things because it is one of the best destinations for surfing. To convince you that you have to visit this town sometime in your life, we are going to tell you about its beaches. Will you join us?
First of all, we would like to talk about Bolonia, considered by many to be one of the best beaches in Spain, which is not surprising, as it is an extensive stretch of sand with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters.
Valdevaqueros beach is large and has clean waters of a beautiful blue. It is important to bear in mind that, thanks to the wind that usually blows here, it is a perfect spot for windsurfing.
Unlike the previous beaches, Playa Chica is a small sandy beach, located between the Isla de las Palomas and the port. Its waters are cold and clear and it is often visited by families.
One of the most beautiful beaches in Tarifa is Los Lances, which attracts many surfers from all over the world every year. It stands out for its natural environment, with an abundance of fish, molluscs and even otters.
Beach of Los Alemanes
Playa de los Alemanes is very close to Zahara de los Atunes and is considered a semi-urban beach.
Atlanterra is the name given to the beach next to Zahara de los Atunes.
Finally, we must mention El Cañuelo beach, a beautiful sandy area that can only be reached on foot. It is surrounded by pine trees and other trees, between cliffs, and is usually not very crowded.
