Beaches of punta umbria in huelva

Many people choose Andalusia for a lively, fun and at the same time peaceful summer holiday… The atmosphere, the magnificent natural landscapes and the cheerfulness of its people could be the main reasons for this.

In this sense, one of the holiday areas par excellence is the beautiful town of Punta UmbrĂa, located in the heart of the Costa de la Luz in Huelva.
In fact, it is a long stretch of fine golden sand that runs into the sea for more than 13 kilometres to offer magnificent beaches where you will find everything from the most isolated to 24-hour beaches.

The beach in Punta UmbrĂa can be divided into the areas of La RĂa, Playa Urbana, Los Enebrales, La Mata Negra, La Bota and El Portil, all of which belong to the peninsula mentioned above.

The fact that this is already an Atlantic coast rather than a Mediterranean one means that the clean waters are sometimes choppy and quite cool, but that won’t stop you from taking a dip during the very hot summer days in Andalusia. If you like water sports, you are in luck, because some of them, such as surfing, are possible in many of them.

On top of everything else, the beaches of Punta UmbrĂa are some of the best equipped in the whole province, with plenty of services and infrastructures and an urban environment where you will find everything you need to enjoy a perfect holiday (restaurants, beach bars, shops, etc.).

The municipality of Punta UmbrĂa is about 20 kilometres from the city of Huelva; from there you can get there by taking the A-497 road from the Avenida Costa de la Luz on the way out of the capital.
