Beaches of mallorca

Mallorca is the biggest sister of the Balearic Islands, with more than 3,625.75 km². Although it was once known as ‘the island of calm’ thanks to its tranquil atmosphere, over the years it has become the most touristic of the Balearic archipelago.

If you are going to spend your next holiday on the island, choose some of these beaches and establish your own route… Any of them has a special charm!
– Es Trenc: The very white fine sand bathed on the shore by the most crystalline waters and the peaceful surroundings far from tourism make this one of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches on the island. Although the influx of naturist tourists is notable, you will probably have no problem if you are one of the more modest ones.

– El Mago: Located in the north of Mallorca, this nudist beach with turquoise waters and transparent seabed is one of the most paradisiacal settings in the area.

– Playa de Palma: This is the busiest beach, as it is located in the tourist centre of the island’s capital. In fact, it is strange that a single visitor arrives on the island and does not visit it.

– Formentor: Similar to the first two, Formentor offers the cleanest and most crystalline waters, fine white sand and a setting of dense Mediterranean nature that make it a place of spectacular beauty.

– Camp de Mar: These are actually two beaches where, in addition to the magnificent landscape conditions, you will have all kinds of facilities and a beautiful unspoilt cove that can be reached on foot.

– Cala Comtessa: It is a small reserved coast surrounded by beautiful pine forest vegetation. Although the beach itself has no services, the village is only a few minutes’ walk away.

Other magnificent coasts in the area are Sa Calobra, Cala Llombards, Cala Figuera, the beach of AlcĂşdia or Cala MondragĂł (in the main picture).
