Beaches of las palmas in gran canaria

A trip to Gran Canaria is always a great idea, as its excellent climate means that you can enjoy the great atmosphere, beautiful green surroundings and wonderful beaches at almost any time of the year.

For all this, the best thing to do is to visit the province of Las Palmas, the most touristic of the island and also one of the ones with the best beaches… Would you like to discover them? Here is a quick summary as a guide, don’t miss it!
-Las Canteras: A beautiful coastline of golden sand and very clean waters of the reef of La Barra, ideal for surfing at any time of the year. This beach is more than 3 kilometres long (accessible to people with disabilities) and is surrounded by a very long promenade where you will find all kinds of facilities and services.

– Las Alcaravaneras: Located next to the port, this beach of more than half a kilometre of golden sand is a good option to enjoy all that the surrounding urban environment provides in terms of leisure and services. Las Alcaravaneras is also a good destination for land and water sports such as volleyball, football, ‘futvoley’, sailing and canoeing.

– La Laja: This is a beautiful bay in the shape of a crescent that is very different from the previous ones, and rather than being touristy and bustling, it is a rustic setting where you can enjoy the tranquillity of a somewhat isolated area without renouncing good facilities. One of the things that makes this beach most special is its sand, which on this occasion is tinged with grey to spread along the more than 1,200 metres of beach.
