Beaches of cadiz

Its geographical location makes Cadiz one of the Andalusian provinces with the largest number of beaches and, why not say it, also with some of the best.

Any of its beaches is perfect to enjoy a quiet and fun holiday, as they all offer an incredible tourist and scenic quality, an active atmosphere 24 hours a day and also all kinds of services to cover all your needs and whims.
If you decide to visit the southern tip of Spain, check out this list for some of the best in town:

– La Cortadura: It is an extensive golden sandy beach almost 4 kilometres long and more than 60 kilometres wide, enough for anyone to find a little corner to enjoy it. It is one of the most beautiful in the whole province, with fine golden sand and almost perfectly preserved surroundings.

– La Caleta: This is one of the best known and most popular beaches in Cadiz, a place full of family and fun atmosphere in the neighbourhood of La Viña.

– La Victoria: It is simply ‘the beach’ of CĂĄdiz, the most emblematic of the city. In addition to its excellent conditions for relaxing and bathing on the beach of fine sand and crystal-clear waters, the seafront is bordered by an atmospheric promenade where you can enjoy the best atmosphere in bars, restaurants and beach bars. One of the most surprising things is that, in addition to being 2.5 kilometres long, this beach is no less than 185 metres wide.

– Santa MarĂa del Mar: It is only 400 metres long and is located next to Victoria beach. Here it is common to find a surfing public that takes advantage of the strong waves that are created between the breakwaters that delimit the beach.

And if you feel like exploring more of the Cadiz coast, don’t worry, because in a short time you can get from the beaches in the centre of Cadiz to other towns such as Chiclana or Conil de la Frontera, Rota, El Puerto de Santa Maria or Barbate, among others.
