Beaches bano de barro ibiza

Aigues Blanques
Throughout history many cultures have used mud baths to cure a wide variety of ailments of the nervous and skeletal systems. In fact, many studies claim that clays are bactericidal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory; that they provide minerals and help to eliminate toxins from the body. What’s more, they seem to have a soothing effect and improve the skin, leaving it younger and smoother.

How would you like to enjoy all the benefits of mud baths in a unique setting? Well, you can do so on the following beaches on the wonderful island of Ibiza.

Xarraca Cove

Cala XarracaFirst of all, we would like to talk about Cala Xarraca, a beach located in the north of Ibiza that is surprising for the transparency of its waters. In fact, it is one of the best places on the island for diving and snorkelling. The sandy area is divided into three zones, two of which are small isolated coves where nudism is practised. As for mud baths, you can take them on the left side.

AigĂŒes Blanques

Aigues Blanques1Another beach where you can take relaxing mud baths is AigĂŒes Blanques, a nudist beach surrounded by cliffs formed by a greyish-coloured mineral. If you wet the wall with water you will get the mud that you will then have to spread over your body. The best thing about this place is that it doesn’t tend to get as crowded as other sandy beaches.

Sa Caleta

Sa CaletaFinally, we would like to talk about Sa Caleta, a beach also known as Es Bol Nou or El RincĂłn del Marino. Located to the south of Ibiza, it stands out for its clean, transparent waters, where diving and snorkelling are highly recommended, and for its cliffs.
