Tregandin beach in noja cantabria

Maybe we seem a bit heavy, but today we want to return to the north of Spain to discover another of the incredible beaches that are hidden there. This time we are going to Noja, a municipality in the autonomous community of Cantabria, located in the Trasmiera region.

As in most of the Cantabrian coast, the beaches of Noja are characterised by their views and landscapes, as they are surrounded by a mountainous natural environment with lots of vegetation. Among them we would like to highlight TrengandĂn, a northeast-facing beach that stretches for more than six kilometres. Yes, it is one of the largest and quietest beaches in Cantabria. Would you like to know a little more about it?

Silence and intimacy

One of the best things about TrengandĂn beach is its silence, which, accompanied by the most absolute intimacy, makes you enjoy the fine golden sand bathed by gently lapping crystal-clear waters. Also surprising are the sharp, black rocks that are revealed at low tide and which hide a legend or two. They are also ideal for fishing for shrimps, and the sea bream and tasty sea urchins are uncovered.

The Grande beach

Due to its extension, TrengandĂn beach is also known as the Big beach. In fact, the second half, which coincides with the neighbourhood of Helgueras, is known as the beach of Las Doradas, due to the quantity of this tasty fish that is caught there. You can get there by car, but then you have to walk the rest of the beach on foot, which means that the density of visitors is low, making it one of the few remaining wild spots on the Spanish coast.

Services

As if that were not enough, on TregandĂn beach you will find all kinds of services: sun loungers, canoes, pedalos, showers, bars, hotels, beach bars, restaurants…
