Outside our borders we can find truly magical places, such as the Plitvice Lakes National Park (Croatia), which we told you about yesterday. However, Spain has nothing to envy from other countries on the planet, at least as far as beaches are concerned, both in terms of quantity and quality.
Next to the Cadiz town of Conil de la Frontera, for example, is the beach of El Palmar, an ideal place to relax, go for long walks and, thus, release stress with the best possible scenery as a backdrop. Would you like to find out more about this beautiful beach in Cadiz? Then don’t miss out on the following details.
One of the few unspoilt beaches left in the south of the island.
El Palmar, which belongs to Vejer de la Frontera, is one of the few unspoilt beaches still preserved in southern Spain. This has been made possible by the fact that it is far from the centre of town, which means that its eight kilometres long and fifty metres wide are normally clear of bathers and onlookers, except in the summer season. Moreover, there are no housing developments nearby to detract from this corner of the Andalusian coast.
One of the best sunsets on the peninsula.
Undoubtedly, the best time to visit El Palmar is in the late afternoon, when the sand becomes the best place to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the whole peninsula.
One of the most outstanding spots
As if that weren’t enough, El Palmar beach has unbeatable conditions for surfing, being one of the most outstanding spots on the Costa de la Luz for this water sport.
