After visiting one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia, Stiniva, today we return to Spain to tell you about one of the best beaches in the north of the country. We are referring to La Salvé Beach, a huge sandy area located in Laredo, in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.
Considered one of the longest beaches in Cantabria (over 4 kilometres long), it has fine golden sand and has been awarded the Blue Flag for years. Would you like to know more about this beautiful beach? Then don’t miss out on the following! Above all, don’t forget to take a look at our gallery.
Laredo
As we have just mentioned, La SalvĂ© belongs to Laredo, a very touristy town which, together with Santoña, has grown to unsuspected limits. As well as offering good beaches and a great nightlife, in this part of Cantabria you can enjoy a mixture of Cantabrian and Basque cuisine. What’s more, you can taste what are possibly the tastiest sardines in Spain.
An excellent level of services
One of the things we like most about La SalvĂ© is that it has an excellent level of services: toilets, showers, deckchair hire, yacht club, car park, kiosks, first aid… It is therefore perfect as a family beach.
Ideal for surfing
Although, as we have said, it is an ideal beach for families, it is also perfect for windsurfing lovers, especially in the area to the north, where different championships are held every summer.
Next we leave you with our gallery, where we offer you more pictures of the Salvé Beach in Laredo. Are you going to miss them?
