Water sports

Despite being quite unknown to those of us who do not live in A Coruña, this beach has managed to rank among the best beaches in Galicia in different rankings and it is not surprising, as it is perfect for different types of water sports and to enjoy the sun with all the comforts.

Calm waters

With fine white sand, this 690-metre-long beach is a little windy, although its waters are usually calm and moderately wavy. This makes it ideal for sports such as windsurfing and sailing. The good thing is that the calmness of the sea also continues in winter, so many people choose this place for their autumn and winter days off.

Access for people with reduced mobility

One of the things we like most about the beach is that, although it does not have a promenade, it does offer access for people with reduced mobility. On the other hand, although at the end of this summer the Bergondo Town Council advised against bathing on this beach due to bacteria levels above the permitted levels, in recent years it has been considered one of the cleanest beaches in A Coruña. We leave you with our gallery below, where you can find more images of this Galician beach.
