What do you think if we start the weekend by getting to know one of the best beaches in the Canary Islands? Specifically, let’s go to Tenerife, an island that offers many experiences thanks to its climate, its nature and its excellent tourist facilities.
As you would expect from an island, one of its main attractions is its beaches. Today we want to tell you about one of the best. Would you like to join us?
Calm waters and white sands
Today we move to Tenerife to discover Playa Diego HernĂĄndez, a small beach that is barely 200 metres long and offers calm waters and fine sand. What’s more, we mustn’t forget that it is located in a protected natural area.
The treasure of Tenerife
This beach is located between La Caleta and El Puertito de Adeje, in a small bay that has also acquired the name of Diego HernĂĄndez. Before arriving at the place, you can find a sign that says: “The treasure of Tenerife”, so you can imagine that here you will find a unique corner, very similar to what you can see in some areas of the Mediterranean coast.
A super quiet beach
This wild and nudist beach is one of the least crowded on the island, so you can be sure that you will enjoy a peaceful day at the beach. However, it’s important to bear in mind that at high tide there’s practically no space left to lay your towel, so you’ll have no choice but to stand on the rocks, which isn’t too bad either. Even so, it is preferable to visit at low tide.
Next we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of Diego HernĂĄndez beach. Don’t miss it!
