If you want to spend a cooler holiday without having to do without spectacular beaches, then we recommend a trip to Asturias! This green paradise full of charm will allow you to discover impressive cliffs, marvellous mountain villages, colourful fishing villages and beaches like the one we show you today.
We are referring to the beach of San Pedro de Antromero, which is located in Antromero, a parish of Bocines, in the municipality of GozĂłn. Would you like to discover this beach in more depth? Well, all you have to do is join us!
Ideal for summer holidays
The beach of San Pedro de Antromero is a beautiful 200-metre inlet of golden sand and strong waves that has good services and is very close to the centre of the town. There is also a campsite nearby. It is undoubtedly an ideal place to settle down during the summer.
Of great geological value
This Asturian area has a great geological value, as its cliffs show the characteristics of Cabo de Peñas during different historical periods, starting with the Palaeozoic. In addition, here you will find fossil remains of dinosaur footprints. On the other hand, it is important to bear in mind that for a long time the beach was used as a kind of rubbish dump where thousands of bottles and glass were thrown away. Although the dump was removed, over the years the action of the sea has created millions of glass beads that are scattered all over the area.
Good services
As we mentioned before, the beach has good services, and you can find everything from danger signs to life-saving equipment in summer, as well as showers, litter bins and cleaning services. However, don’t expect to find more equipment. Next we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of this beautiful beach in Asturias. Don’t miss it!
