Although we can already see autumn on the horizon, we can still enjoy our beaches for a few more weeks. That’s why we don’t want to stop introducing you to beautiful beaches in our country. Today it’s Cadiz’s turn, where we can enjoy such beautiful spots as Cortadura Beach, La Caleta or Los Alemanes Beach, among many others.
In particular, today we would like to talk to you about Playa de Regla, the beach of reference in Chipiona. Would you like to join us? We assure you that you won’t regret it!
Blue Flag since 1989
Playa de Regla, which is delimited by the lighthouse and CamarĂłn beach, is one of the most famous beaches in Chipiona, among other things because it is very close to the urban area. However, it is also worth noting that since 1989 it has been awarded the Blue Flag without interruption, a distinction awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education to all beaches that meet the following requirements: bathing water quality, environmental information and education, environmental management, safety, services and facilities.
A very family-friendly beach
The atmosphere of Playa de Regla is very family-oriented. In fact, it is ideal for children, as the water is shallow and the waves are generally calm. And although it is a fairly large sandy beach, in high season it is usually very crowded.
All kinds of services
The beach has all kinds of services (toilets, showers, litter bins, access walkways, beach umbrella and sun lounger hire, lifeguard, cleaning services, pedal boats for hire…) and you can also take advantage of the day to enjoy the local gastronomy in one of the bars on the Paseo MarĂtimo Costa de la Luz. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of this beach in Cadiz. Don’t miss it!
