Morro jable beach in fuerteventura

Its beauty, its atmosphere and its incredible combination of the best natural surroundings with all the services of an urban area have made Morro Jable beach in recent years one of the tourist centres of the island of Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands.

This beach of fine whitish sand stretches over 4 kilometres in length. In Morro Jable, everyone can find a spot where they can spread out their towel and enjoy the mild Canarian climate as well as the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

The atmosphere of peace, relaxation and fun is guaranteed thanks to the environment that surrounds the beach, where a natural environment of tall palm trees and green vegetation is perfectly combined with a semi-urban environment where you will find a wide range of leisure and services.

Thus, both on the promenade that runs along the beach and in the surrounding area, you will not be short of options for choosing a good hotel, restaurant or terrace where you can cool off on hot summer days.

In the northernmost part of Morro Jable and beyond the white lighthouse that is the typical image of the area is the naturist area of the beach, while the south is reserved for the more modest.

In spite of all the tourism it receives throughout the year (with an abundance of German visitors), Morro Jable still conserves some remnants of the charming little fishing village it used to be in the port area, a perfect place to enjoy a quiet stroll after an intense day at the beach.

Fuerteventura airport is about 100 kilometres from this village, which also has a Jet Foil service to reach the neighbouring island of Gran Canaria by boat.
