Cangas de Morrazo is a municipality in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia, which has 39 beaches. However, in this Galician town they are very clear that they do not boast quantity, but quality. As we were saying, today we would like to talk to you about Menduiña beach, which is located at the mouth of the Aldán estuary, in the parish of the same name. It is a beautiful cove with crystal-clear waters that is surrounded by forests and mountains. What is most surprising, however, is its white sand, as well as its calm waters and the rocky outcrops of curious shapes around it. In short, we are talking about a beach with spectacular scenery.
Blue Flag
Menduiña beach is not only the largest and most popular, but it can also boast of having been awarded the Blue Flag for several summers. It is important to note that unlike other beaches in the area, this one is accessible by road. It also has different services and facilities: anchoring area, lifeguards, a beach bar, a bar, a library, lifeguards, showers… You can also find several restaurants in the vicinity, where, of course, you can try the local seafood.
