Summers in the south are lived with an incredible intensity and at a different pace, and both the atmosphere and the culture and way of life have nothing to do with that of other Spanish communities or other countries.
To see this you only have to visit the town of MazagĂłn, in Huelva, a place where time seems to stand still to allow you to enjoy the incredible beaches that stretch along its coastline.
You may not have heard of this town on the Costa de la Luz before, although it may start to ring a bell when you mention the popular Doñana National Park or the beach of Matalascañas, which are only a short distance from this point.
The main beach is located next to the town’s marina and stretches for over 5.5 kilometres to offer you fine golden sand, clean waters in excellent conditions and an urban environment that is not too noisy so that your holiday can be both fun and relaxing.
As if this were not enough, its enormous dimensions or the fact that it is not one of the most popular beaches means that the beach is usually of average occupancy, so you will have no problem finding a space for your towel.
Thus, near the beach you will find all kinds of services and amenities, from bars and restaurants to small local shops.
If you are going to spend a few days in the area we recommend you to visit some other wonderful beaches nearby such as El Loro, Chicago or El Parador.
MazagĂłn belongs to Moguer and Palos de la Frontera and is located around 20 kilometres from the city of Huelva, so, as they say, it is practically a stone’s throw away.
