Los tranquilos beach a small and beautiful sandy beach in cantabria

Emerald-coloured waters, fine golden sands and unique surroundings. This is what the coast of Cantabria has to offer, one of the most beautiful autonomous communities in our country, where it is certainly worth spending your holidays. If you opt for this option, it might be a great idea to stay in Loredo, a town in Ribamontán al Mar, which has a campsite right on the beach.

One of the most beautiful corners of Laredo is Los Tranquilos Beach, which is separated from the main beach by some rocks that, during low tide, can be easily crossed. Would you like to discover more details about this beach? Then we recommend that you pay close attention to what we tell you below!

Easily accessible

As we were saying, Los Tranquilos Beach is separated from Loredo Beach by a rocky outcrop. And although at low tide it can be reached by crossing the rocks, the truth is that the best way to get there is via the stairs that start from the car park.

Wonderful views

We must admit that what we like most about this beach is its viewpoint, which offers marvellous views of the whole bay of Santander. On the other hand, we would like to mention that there is a cycle path in the area that connects Los Tranquilos with the beach of Somo.

A very quiet beach

As you can imagine, the name of the beach comes from the tranquillity you can breathe here. Therefore, if you are looking to relax surrounded by a beautiful environment, Los Tranquilos is ideal for you. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of this small cove in Loredo. Don’t miss it!
