Today we are going to Santander, the capital of this autonomous region, to discover Los Peligros Beach, which is considered to be one of the best in the region.
Would you like to find out more about this beach in Santander? Well, you know what you have to do! Don’t miss anything we’ll tell you below!
A beautiful promenade
Los Peligros Beach is in the municipality of Santander. To get to the beach you have to cross the Promontorio de San MartĂn, which is right in the centre of the city. The beach, which is joined to the Magdalena and Bikinis beaches, has a beautiful long promenade that stretches for a kilometre and a half. A stroll along it is truly worthwhile.
A beach that is not dangerous for bathers
Despite its name, this is not a dangerous beach for bathers, quite the contrary. And it should be borne in mind that, being in the bay of Santander, its waters are very calm. Although there are several theories about the origin of the name, the most widely accepted is that it is due to the danger that boats run when approaching the beach, as they can run aground. This is due to the shallowness of its waters.
Some services
