Recently we talked on this website about an exceptional surfing beach in Galicia. Today’s post will also delight lovers of this sport, but they will have to travel a few kilometres to get from the Galician beach to the one shown above.
Because Los Nogales beach is a spectacular coastal enclave located on the Canary Island of La Palma. The beach is in the municipality of Puntallana; its black sand and the towering cliffs that surround it make it a place of great drama.
Nudists and surfers
As it is somewhat secluded, this beach is not very crowded. In addition, its currents and strong waves do not make it a family beach… But these details do not deter the many lovers of wild nature who come here, among whom there are many nudists and surfers. Los Nogales beach can be reached by car, bike or on foot, and before descending to it it is worth stopping at the viewpoint to absorb all its beauty.

To get down to the edge of the sea you have to walk down a path which takes about thirty minutes. This is another of the reasons why the more comfortable visitors are reluctant to visit this beach, which many consider to be not only the best on the island, but also one of the most beautiful in our country. If you want to visit Los Nogales beach, you will have to go to the northwest of the island of La Palma and find the municipality of Puntallana. However, you have to be very cautious when bathing here; there is a dangerous current that can lure you away from the shore almost without you noticing it.
