Los cocedores beach in murcia

Spending a few days in Murcia means a good dose of culture, atmosphere and, of course, beautiful beaches where you can relax and unwind while enjoying a holiday with your family, partner or friends.

A few days ago we told you about some of the best beaches to visit during your visit to this autonomous region and today we want to bring you closer to one of them: Los Cocederos beach. This beach has some curiosities behind it. The first of them is that it is not even called Cala Cerrada, as we have told you, but Cala Cerrada: The reason for this change is simple, and it is due to the fact that at the beginning of the 20th century there was a natural esparto grass cooker there.

This is a tiny crescent-shaped beach barely 150 metres long, a space that is usually very popular thanks to its magnificent features that will delight children and adults alike: fine golden sand, crystal-clear, warm waters, a long shore ideal for children’s games and all the facilities for parents’ peace of mind.

However, there is no more security service at Los Cocedores than at the beach next door.

One of the things that makes this cove even more beautiful is its cliffs, which are especially curious at one end where the erosion of the sea has completely changed the appearance of the rock, turning it into a mountain taken from another planet.

Los Cocederos is for some people the last beach in the south of Murcia and the first in the northeast of AlmerĂa, so it is not very clear whether it belongs to one autonomous region or the other… Whatever the case, don’t miss it!
