Sports activities

Arrigunaga beach is located below the cliffs of La Galea, offering visitors wonderful views. But don’t think that the only thing you can do here is enjoy the scenery. You can also sunbathe, go swimming or do a whole host of sporting activities. For example, surf lovers will have a great time with its waves, especially with the ones that break at the back and with the right one that breaks next to the breakwater on days when the sea is rough.

Frequented by tourists

Although it is an easily accessible beach, it is not usually frequented by tourists, but by local people. Moreover, it does not tend to get too crowded. In any case, you can spread out your towel in the garden area at the top of the beach.

It can be dangerous

It is important to bear in mind that the beach can be dangerous, as its seabed is made of sand and rocks. In fact, when the tide goes out, rocky points can appear. However, it has obtained the Blue Flag, a certificate of environmental quality awarded by the FEE. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of this beautiful beach in the Basque Country. Don’t miss it!
