Arrollo del canuelo beach in cadiz

If you had known about it, many of you would probably have already passed by this beautiful beach in Cadiz on your last visit to the coastal town… However, those of you who are now preparing your next summer holidays will be lucky enough to have already heard about this ‘garden of Eden’ so you won’t miss the opportunity to visit it…

This unspoilt beach is one of the most charming places you have ever visited in your life: rugged rustic surroundings, medium-grained golden sand, crystal clear waters and the purest and greenest Mediterranean vegetation.
The beautiful beach of Arroyo del Cañuelo or Camarinal is located in the heart of the Parque Natural del Estrecho, a place where, despite the wild tourism, it has been possible to maintain and respect the environment not only along the more than 500 metres of beach (40 metres wide) but also in the whole extension of the wooded park.

The wind and waves of this coast of Zahara de los Atunes make it a good destination for the practice of Bodyboard or Radsail, so if you are one of the most active, don’t forget your board!

It is also worth mentioning that Arroyo del Cañuelo is a mixed beach or, in other words, suitable for nudists and for those who prefer to keep their most intimate parts safe.

To get to this beach you must park just before the Camarinal lighthouse; from here you walk about 500 metres to the lighthouse and then a kilometre and a half. You can either ask the locals or follow the white painted waymarks that guide the way.
