Best nudist beaches in spain

Despite the fact that there are many who reject and criticise it, the practice of nudism is becoming more and more common in a large part of the Spanish coasts, especially since a couple of decades ago.

In addition, nudists and naturists come to the beaches in search of a reunion with nature, to enjoy it and to present themselves simply as they are, leaving behind modesty and shame.

You don’t have to be a naturist to visit them.

Not everyone has to be a naturist, as there are many people who simply consider that in this relaxing environment it is not necessary to wear clothes that make us feel uncomfortable and do not allow us to feel completely free. Others simply wish to avoid the unsightly marks left by swimming costumes when sunbathing.

If you want to sign up for nudism this year, here are some ideas to help you prepare for your holidays:

The most popular nudist beaches

Aguas Blancas beach in Ibiza is one of the most praised nudist beaches in the Balearic Islands. It is not very wide, but it has the incredible scenic value of the area’s coastline.

The beach of Los Muertos, in Almeria, is a nudist beach in Cabo de Gata, perfect for relaxing as well as for practising sports such as scuba diving.

CantajirrĂĄn is another Andalusian beach, located on the border between Granada and MĂĄlaga. It is a pebble beach with a seabed to admire.

Other well-known nudist beaches

Other very popular nudist beaches in Spain are El Saler beach in Valencia, Bolonia beach in Tarifa (Cådiz), Cala Atalaya in Oleiros (A Coruña), Covachos in Santa Cruz de Bezana (Cantabria), Nueva Umbría in Huelva, El Ruso beach in Granada, or Cala Morisca, located in the well-known gay tourist destination of Sitges (Barcelona).

As always, the beaches of the Balearic Islands are, in our opinion, the best. We recommend you to visit Es Trenc beach in Campos (Majorca) and Cala del Pilar in Ciutadella de Menorca.
