The three best nudist beaches in andalucia

playa-de-Monsul-Almeria
Spain is a country where you can enjoy nudism on the beaches. It is not illegal as in other countries and this means that there are more and more naturism enthusiasts who prefer to leave their swimming costumes behind in order to blend in with nature.

If you want to practise nudism and you are in Andalusia on holiday, I recommend you visit what in my opinion are the three best nudist beaches in southern Spain. All of them have that dose of beauty and tranquillity that you are always looking for to disconnect from your problems.

Gualdamar Beach (Malaga)

playa-de-GuadalmarJust a short distance from Malaga city, at the mouth of the Guadalhorce river, Guadalmar beach is the only authorised beach in the whole city. Although there is an area where you can see people sunbathing in swimming trunks, there is a part of the beach that is exclusively for nudists.

If you have time and want to explore the surroundings a little more, you should not miss the opportunity to spot different species of birds, such as flamingos. Just don’t expect to see them in pink or in the same numbers as in Kenya’s Lake Nakuru.

Bolonia Beach (CĂĄdiz)

Playa-de-Bolonia-AndaluciaIt is one of the best beaches in Andalusia, not to say that it can also be in the top 10 beaches in Spain. The dunes of Bolonia beach are an important tourist attraction, but its turquoise waters also invite you to take a dip.

It is in Tarifa and also has an area reserved for nudism, which by the way has been christened “El Chorrito”. In addition, you also have the opportunity to take a mud bath.

MĂłnsul Beach (AlmerĂa)

playa-de-Monsul-nudistaIn the beautiful Cabo de Gata is the beach of MĂłnsul, a natural jewel of rather dark sand and calm waters that invites you to practice nudism along its 300-metre length. There is no lifeguard and no showers. In fact, it is quite far from the urban centres.

It is located in NĂjar and its beauty has led to scenes from films such as ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ and ‘Talk to Her’ being filmed there. There is a car park which is payable between July and August. It tends to be quite busy during these months, despite the serene atmosphere.
