Alicante is one of those tourist destinations that we all have in mind when summer arrives. Places like Denia or Jávea are in the spotlight of Spanish and foreign tourists, something that is not surprising considering that its beaches are among the best in the country.
If what you are looking for is a top nudist beach, I recommend you take note of the three I mention below, as all of them meet a series of requirements that make them especially recommendable.
Los Saladares beach
Also known as Saladar beach, it is defined as a semi-urban beach with no promenade. The name was not given by chance, as it is due to the salt marsh of Aigua Amarga which is located a short distance away. It is 1,900 metres long and 54 metres wide, although it is true that nudism is only partially practised.
Beach of La Albufereta
This other nudist beach is ideal for relaxing on its black sand. Its waters are not at all choppy and the atmosphere invites you to enjoy the views. It is located to the northwest of Alicante and has a length of over 400 metres, while its width is just over 20 metres.
La Olla Beach
It is easy to find due to its location, as it is between the marinas “Mar y Montaña” and “Portet de l’Olla”. It is also easily recognised by L’Illeta and L’Illot, two small islets that can be reached by swimming in the calm waters. This beach is rather narrow, as it is 1,400 metres long and only 10 metres wide. In August you can enjoy El Castell de l’Olla, a firework display that has been held every year in Altea since 1987 and which usually attracts more than 40,000 people, many of whom take their seats on the beach of La Olla.
