Anyone who has had the chance to visit the province of Cadiz knows: its beaches are special. With fine, golden sand, they offer crystal-clear, cool waters that invite you to take a dip, beautiful sunsets and the possibility of doing different water sports.
Almost all the beaches in this wonderful Andalusian province are worth a visit, but if you only have time to visit a few of them, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to opt for the ones we’re going to show you below. Will you join us?
Beach of Bolonia
How could it be otherwise, we are going to start by talking about Playa de Bolonia, one of the best beaches in Spain in 2017. Located in Tarifa, it is a natural spectacle with dunes and Roman sites.
Valdevaqueros beach
Also in Tarifa is Valdevaqueros Beach, an ideal place for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, surrounded by fabulous scenery. You’ll also find plenty of beach bars and chiringuitos (beach bars).
Beach of the Alemanes
In the municipality of Tarifa we also find the Playa de los Alemanes, also known as Playa de Cabo de Plata and Playa de Aguaenmedio. It is very close to the town of Zahara de los Atunes and offers a really beautiful landscape.
La Barrosa Beach
Another beach worth visiting is La Barrosa, located in Chiclana de la Frontera. The best thing about this extensive beach is that it offers two atmospheres: one lively and full of services, and the other wilder.
Palmar Beach
We would also like to recommend Playa del Palmar, which is located on the coast of Vejer de la Frontera. This unspoilt beach offers one of the best sunsets in Andalusia.
Coves of Roche
Finally, we would like to talk about the Calas de Roche, which are located in the northern part of Conil de la Frontera. This is a group of beautiful coves of great scenic value.
