The best beaches in torrevieja

Most of us would agree to give a good ending to this sentence, and the fact is that Torrevieja is one of those traditional sun and beach destinations that we have all heard of at some point in our lives.

If you’ve decided to visit this Alicante city this year, don’t make the mistake of arriving uninformed and take note of some of its most important beaches.– La Mata: This beautiful beach of golden sand is the longest of all (about 2,500 metres) and forms part of the Laguna de Mata Natural Park. Surrounding the beach you can find a promenade with a good offer of leisure and services.

– Cabo Cervera: This is a tiny urban beach of barely 500 metres. However, its characteristics guarantee the best conditions thanks to the clean waters, the fine golden sand and the semi-urban setting with good facilities and services.

– El Cura: It is located between Punta Margallo and the northern breakwater; it is a beach of fine golden sand with all kinds of services.

– El Acequión: This long urban beach of about 900 metres in length is usually quite crowded thanks to its good natural conditions and the good environment that extends around it.

– Cala del Mojón: Despite its name, this sandy cove of barely 200 metres is a good place to enjoy a quiet and traditional day of sun and beach in the area. However, hurry because its urban environment means that it fills up quickly during the summer months.

Other beaches worth visiting in Torrevieja are La Higuera, La Zorra Cala de las Piteras, Cala del Palangre, Torrelamata, Poniente and El Salaret.
