The best beaches in murcia

Great atmosphere, delicious gastronomy, magnificent beaches and an endless offer of leisure and activities make Murcia one of the best options for our summer holidays in Spain.

However, there are so many beaches that we could visit that it is often difficult to make a selection of the ones that really stand out on the coast. Don’t worry, because if you need advice on this website we want to give you a hand… Take five minutes to read the article and create your own route!
– Calblanque, La Manga: This is undoubtedly the most popular of them all, a long beach of fine golden sand with an almost virgin appearance, equipped with good services and a pleasant family atmosphere. Despite not being somewhat isolated, it has a large number of visitors.

– Los Cocedores: Unlike the previous one, this beach in Águilas is just a small cove of golden sand with few facilities but a good atmosphere. At the end of the cove and almost going into the sea there is a curious rock formation eroded by the sea that is worth seeing up close.

– Islas Hormigas: It has several capes and is a spectacular setting for water sports such as scuba diving or snorkelling, which will allow you to discover the beautiful and varied Mediterranean marine fauna.

– Los Narejos: It is located in Los AlcĂĄzares and it is one of the most popular destinations.

– Villananitos: It is located in San Pedro del Pinatar and is an urban beach surrounded by a promenade ideal for enjoying the great atmosphere of this autonomous community.

– Bolnuevo: A golden sandy beach (coarse sand) almost a kilometre and a half long surrounded by a promenade in a semi-urban environment ideal for having good services in a not excessively noisy environment.

Playa Grande del Puerto de MazarrĂłn, El PortĂșs or El Espejo are also other beaches that are worth a visit during your holidays.
