Reducto Beach

Playa del ReductoEl Reducto beach is the best beach in Arrecife, which is the capital of Lanzarote. It is of fine white sand, half a kilometre long and approximately 45 metres wide. The water is calm and very clean, and there are all kinds of services so that you don’t have to worry about anything: restaurants, beach bars, showers, toilets, changing rooms, telephones… There is also a shopping area nearby and you can get around by bus without any problem. As it is very touristy, you won’t have any problems finding accommodation of all kinds.

Los Caletones Beach

Being close to the Roque del Este and the Alegranza sighting, it is a perfect place to enjoy the scenery. It is possible to reach it by car and there are parking areas available very close to the beach.

Honda Beach

It is located in the town of San BartolomĂ©, in the south of the island, close to the airport and Guacimeta beach, which is not bad either. It has medium-grain sand and you won’t have to suffer the waves, as the waters are calm. However, there is a constant wind that makes it popular with windsurfers. There is a promenade next to the beach and all kinds of services.

La CanterĂ­a Beach

It is the most northerly beach of Lanzarote, a small paradise that sometimes does not allow swimming because of the strong waves. This, of course, is great news for surfing enthusiasts, who come here to enjoy the waves whenever they can.

Leaving aside the water and the sand, it must be said that around this beach there are a series of caves that are well worth a visit.

Grande Beach

Playa GrandeIn Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of TĂ­as, Playa Grande is one of the main tourist attractions. It is also known as Playa Blanca and is one of the busiest beaches on the island. As you can see in the picture, there is no shortage of sunshades, deckchairs, showers, toilets, changing rooms, water sports equipment… It is highly recommended for enjoying a summer day out with the family because it is also guarded.

Los Pocillos Beach

Playa de Los PocillosIt has fine golden sand, a small paradise located in a residential area with the same name. High tide often leaves puddles and the wind is often present, although this is not a problem for swimmers as the waters are usually calm and calm.

This is another beach that has no problem filling up, mainly thanks to the windsurfing fans who come here to get a hand from the wind. It is perfectly equipped and very close to a commercial area with accommodation and restaurants of all kinds.

Las Conchas Beach

Playa de Las ConchasIt is one of the best beaches in Spain. It is to the north of La Graciosa, which is a very small island located just above Lanzarote. Its six hundred metres of beach are simply spectacular. It is paradisiacal, with fairly coarse whitish sand and turquoise waters that invite you to swim. However, you have to be careful with the weather because the wind tends to blow strongly. It is therefore advisable to take extreme precautions when there are children in the water. From La Graciosa taxi service you can get there in 5 minutes, but you can also get there by bike in 20 minutes or on foot for 45 minutes. The choice is yours.
