After the Easter holidays, many of us have already started to prepare our summer holidays. What most of us are looking for during this time of the year is a place where we can enjoy the sun and the beach, where we can relax and, of course, where we can have a great time. Do you know where you can find all this? Without a doubt, on the Costa del Sol.
As you know, the Costa del Sol, which includes the coastal region of the Malaga area, is one of the most important tourist areas in Spain, as it receives millions of visitors every year. And it’s no wonder, as it offers 300 days of sunshine, an average temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius and some wonderful beaches. Do you want to know which are the best? Here we show you them!
First of all, we would like to talk about Playa Burriana, which is usually frequented by families thanks to its beautiful surroundings. Moreover, you can practice sports such as windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, volleyball…
Although we had a hard time deciding, it was clear to us that the beach of Calahonda could not be missing on this list. Located in the centre of the town of Nerja, it is a small, sandy and protected beach, with calm waters and dark sand.
Undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol is Maro, a secluded place of 500 metres by 20 metres wide with a wild aspect and vegetation.
Artola beach is perfect for nudists. Located in a protected area, it is 1,200 metres long and you can enjoy golden sand and a magical atmosphere.
Puerto Banús Beach
Finally, let’s talk about the beach of Puerto Banús, a luxury marina located in Marbella which has become one of the major entertainment centres on the Costa del Sol.
