The best beaches of the costa brava

There is no doubt that the Costa Brava is one of the best sun and beach destinations in Spain, as its mild climate is complemented by beautiful beaches and an unbeatable atmosphere.

However, there are so many beaches that are worth visiting that we often have doubts… Do you want to know some of the best? Take note of what we tell you!

– Platja Gran, Platja d’Aro: As well as offering a comfortable beach of golden sand and crystal-clear waters, the town’s main beach has a lively promenade (and village) with plenty of leisure, hotel and restaurant options to choose from.

– CadaquĂ©s: Any of its coves is worth a visit, not so much for its comfort for a day of sun and beach (it is rocky) but for the charm of any corner of the picturesque village of DalĂ’s little white houses.

– Tamariu: This beautiful beach of fine white sand and crystal-clear waters is surrounded by high cliffs facing the sea and offers a good range of leisure activities and services. It is located in Palafrugell, so you can also visit the beautiful beaches of Calella and Llafranc.

– Platja Gran, in Tossa de Mar: Always atmospheric and with the castle as a backdrop, this beach is one of the most beautiful both for the quality of the natural environment and the surrounding area.

– Aigua Blava: It is a small and picturesque coast with a quiet and intimate atmosphere that will make you feel at home in just a few days. The quality of the water and sand is excellent.

Other places on the Costa Brava where you will find beautiful beaches are Roses, Begur, or PalamĂłs.
