If for your next few days off you are looking for a place where you can enjoy a placid climate, spectacular beaches, tranquillity and a good atmosphere, your next destination should be Catalonia!

In fact, the Catalan coast is one of the Mediterranean’s favourites, and if you want to find out why, take a look at some of its best beaches and coves!
– Cala Giverola, Tossa de Mar: Beautiful semi-urban cove with fine golden sand and beautiful turquoise waters. Its beauty means that many people visit it during the summer months.

– Cala Rovira, Platja d’Aro: Located just a few minutes from the town’s main beach, it offers the magnificent natural conditions of beautiful crystal-clear waters and coarse golden sand but in a more reserved setting surrounded by rocky cliffs. If you go for more than one day, don’t miss the opportunity to do the Platja d’Aro – Sant Antoni de Calonge route.

– La Barceloneta, Barcelona: This beach is not remarkable for its beauty or its tranquillity, but precisely for the non-stop, 24-hour-a-day atmosphere of this popular tourist area of the city. You will find an infinite cultural, service and leisure offer.

– Cala del Senyor RamĂłn, Sant Feliu de GuĂxols: This beach of golden sand and beautiful turquoise waters is surrounded by lush green vegetation to create a 100% Mediterranean panorama.

– Playa Fonda, Begur: Quiet beach of golden sand surrounded by mountains of green vegetation among which you can distinguish some high-rise housing estates. It is located in the province of Girona.

– Cala Fonda, Tamarit: This beach in Tarragona, also known as Waikiki, is characterised by its peaceful isolated environment surrounded by high mountains that you will have to descend if you want to enjoy a day at the beach.

– La Ribera, Sitges: This is the most popular beach in the town, and in addition to excellent hygiene and safety conditions, it is located right in front of the town centre. The atmosphere is spectacular, don’t miss it!

– Els Capellans, Salou: The excellent natural and tourist conditions (leisure, services, facilities…) have led this small beach of just over 200 metres to be awarded the prestigious European Blue Flag.
