Continuing our tour of some of the best beaches in Spain, today we want to make a stop on the Costa CĂĄlida, that is, the area of coastline that stretches from El MojĂłn in the north to the Cuatro Calas in Ăguilas in the south. As you might have guessed, we are referring to the 250 kilometres of coastline in the Region of Murcia, where you will find the warmest waters in the whole of the Mediterranean Sea.
With the intention of getting to know the beautiful coastline of our country, today we are going to tell you about some of the best beaches in Cartagena, a municipality in the Region of Murcia. Are you going to miss it? I wouldn’t if I were you!
Calblanque beach
The first place we want to tell you about is the Calblanque Regional Park, and more specifically Calblanque Beach, a beautifully preserved unspoilt beach. However, bear in mind that during most of the summer, access for motor vehicles is limited depending on occupancy.
Mar de Cristal Beach
Another beach that cannot be missing from this list is the Mar de Cristal beach, which belongs to the Mar Menor area. This beach stands out, above all, for its calm and warm waters, which are also shallow. It is therefore an ideal beach for children. It also has all kinds of services.
El PortĂșs Beach
We would also like to talk about El PortĂșs, an urban beach located just 11 kilometres from the city of Cartagena. We have included it in the list because it is perfect for nudists. Cala Morena is home to a naturist campsite that is open all year round. The beach stands out for the transparency of its waters.
