Summer is approaching, which means that very soon we will be able to start enjoying all the beautiful beaches that our coastline has to offer. If you live in the south or are planning to spend your holidays in this area of the peninsula, what we are going to tell you today will be of great help to you.
After telling you about the best beaches in Cadiz, today we want to show you the best beaches in Almeria, a province that can boast some of the best beaches in Spain along its 217 kilometres of coastline. Would you like to join us?
Monsul Beach
First of all, we would like to talk about Monsul Beach, located in Cabo de Gata. It stands out for its fine sand, its entrance to the water with hardly any gradient, the volcanic formations at the ends, the impressive rock located in the centre and its state of isolation, which has allowed it to remain practically untouched.
Los Muertos Beach
The Playa de los Muertos (Beach of the Dead), also located in Cabo de Gata, is also on this list. As in the previous case, it is an isolated sandy area that remains unspoilt. Although access is not easy, it is worth it, as here you will find high quality sand, clean turquoise waters and spectacular surroundings.
Las Salinas Beach
We would also like to talk to you about Las Salinas beach, considered to be the largest sandy area in Cabo de Gata. We are talking about more than 5 kilometres of sand. The church of Las Salinas stands out, which adds to the beauty of the place.
Enmedio Cove
Finally, we would like to talk to you about Cala de Enmedio, which we told you about a few days ago. Totally isolated, it is striking for the geological formations of white rock that surround it. For more information, don’t miss our article “Cala de Enmedio, a hidden beach in Cabo de Gata”.
