Laida

LaidaFirst of all, we would like to tell you about Laida beach, which belongs to the municipality of Ibarrangelu. Located in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, it offers almost a kilometre of fine golden sand. It is considered to be the largest beach in the Mundaka estuary and is ideal for water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing, sailing and, of course, surfing.

Barrika

BarrikaWe would also like to tell you about Barrika beach, which is located in the municipality of the same name. This is a wild sandy beach, some 600 metres long, which stands out for its landscape of cliffs. Like the previous beach, it is also very popular with surfing enthusiasts.

Laga

LagaWe return to the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve to tell you about the dune beach of Laga. With fine golden sand, it is a meeting point for surfers. In fact, here you will find a surf school and a surf club.

Arrietara

ArrietaraWe continue our tour of the best beaches in Vizcaya in Sopela, where we find the Arrietara and Atxabiribil beaches, which share the same sand. Large and quiet, they are protected by cliffs and are ideal for water activities.
