Undoubtedly, one of the main attractions of this place is its coastline, full of beautiful beaches. Today we’d like to show you five of the most beautiful ones, and we’re sure you won’t regret it!
Gulpiyuri Beach
First of all, we would like to tell you about Gulpiyuri Beach, a small beach hidden between the coast of Ribadesella and Llanes. In fact, the seawater reaches this spot through a tunnel between the rocks.
Poo Beach
We would also like to tell you about Poo Beach, a funnel-shaped sandy area that lies at the mouth of the small stream of RĂo Vallina. It is important to bear in mind that bathing on this beach is very safe.
Torimbia Beach
Not to be missed on this list is Torimbia Beach, a spot frequented by nudists since the 1960s. You will love its rugged landscape, with cliffs over 50 metres high. On the other hand, you should bear in mind that it is equipped with surveillance services and a Red Cross post, among other services.
Beach of Cuevas del Mar
The beach of Cuevas del Mar, which is located at the mouth of the Nueva river, is also a must. It is surprising for its numerous cavities carved into the rocky walls by the waves. The only problem is that it is a very crowded beach.
Beach of Borizu
Finally, we would like to tell you about Borizu Beach, which is characterised by the fact that it is joined at low tide to the island of Borizu or Arnielles. In fact, the high tide-low tide process is a tremendously beautiful spectacle.
