When we go to any beach we always expect the water to be clean and transparent. However, on most occasions our expectations are not met. Fortunately, we live in a country that offers a wonderful coastline that has nothing to envy to other countries when it comes to crystal clear water.
Today on this website we are going to show you five of the beaches with the clearest waters in the world. And yes, we have included a Spanish beach. Would you like to join us?
El Nido
First of all, we would like to tell you about the coastline of El Nido, a Philippine municipality on the island of Palawan, which offers white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters that are out of this world. No wonder it’s one of the Philippines’ top tourist destinations.
Coco Key
We would also like to tell you about Cayo Coco, which in addition to crystal clear waters, offers fine white sand and a backdrop of coconut trees and mangroves. It is also home to a colony of 30,000 pink flamingos.
Sabah
The beaches of the Malaysian state of Sabah, which have such crystal-clear waters that you can see the seabed completely without the need to dive, could not be missing from this list. In fact, this is a popular place for water trekking.
Whitehaven Beach
We didn’t want to forget Whitehaven Beach, one of the many beaches in Australia that is worth visiting. It is located in the Whitsunday Islands, in the state of Queensland, and is set in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.
Ses Illetes
We would like to end our tour of the beaches with the clearest waters in the world in Spain, and more specifically on the Balearic island of Formentera. At Ses Illetes beach you can contemplate and bathe in completely crystalline waters, which combine different shades of blue.
