What do you think if today we move to Galicia? Specifically, today we are in Pontevedra, a province where it is possible to find both mountains and coastline within a few kilometres, belonging to the RĂas Baixas. It is a place full of beautiful landscapes and charming towns.
One of the most special spots in Pontevedra is Nerga Beach, located in the council of Cangas de Morrazo. Would you like to discover it? Well, we recommend that you don’t miss any of what we tell you below!
A quiet beach of great natural attraction
If there is one thing that makes Nerga Beach stand out, it is its natural attraction and the tranquillity that can be enjoyed here. It is important to bear in mind that it is part of the Barra Cove, which includes the Barra nudist beach, A Nova Cove and Viño Beach. However, Nerga is the most accessible of them all. In fact, you can reach it by car. For this reason, it is also the busiest beach in the inlet.
Clear and transparent waters
This white sandy beach offers clear and transparent waters. You should also know that it is very close to the CĂes Islands. In fact, you can see them from the beach. This beautiful landscape is complemented by the traditional boats that can be found on some stretches of the beach.
A Blue Flag beach
Finally, we would like to mention that this beach has been awarded the Blue Flag. As well as being very well cared for, it offers all kinds of services: parking, security during the high season, beach bars… Below is our gallery, where you will find more images of Nerga Beach. Don’t miss it!
