We start the week by getting to know one of the best beaches to be found in the north of Spain, although it is little known to mass tourism, which makes it even more special. We are talking about Rodiles beach, a sandy area located in the municipality of Villaviciosa.
Would you like to discover all the details about this magnificent Asturian beach? Then you should pay attention to what we tell you below!
A beautiful natural environment
The beach we are showing you today is located in the RĂa Villaviciosa Nature Reserve and, as you can imagine, what is most striking about this place is its natural setting. We are talking about a beautiful sandy area surrounded by trees that has a wooden promenade that runs along the banks of the estuary and gives the place a very charming touch.
Services and facilities
The beach, which is around one kilometre long and 300 metres wide, is considered to be one of the largest in the area. And although it has parking and campsites nearby, it’s never too crowded, so you can enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the place without being crowded. In all honesty, however, we have to say that it is more crowded than other beaches in the area.
An ideal beach for surfing
On the other hand, we would like to point out that Rodiles is a good place for surfing. In fact, its left wave attracts many lovers of this sport every year. Before leaving you with our gallery, we would like to tell you that the beach has all kinds of services and facilities, including an area with tables and chairs. Below we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of this beautiful Asturian beach. Don’t miss it!
