The most beautiful beach in spain

If you’ve come this far, it’s because you’re a sybarite. You are not satisfied with just any beach and you want to visit the best of them all, the most beautiful.

The truth is that it hasn’t been easy for me to choose it, as there are many beaches that deserve to be considered as such. However, the most beautiful beach in Spain, in my humble opinion, is Ses Illetes, in a paradise called Formentera, in the Balearic Islands.

A beach you’ll want to come back to every year

The most experienced travellers, who have bathed in hundreds of five-star beaches, are clear that Ses Illetes is one of the best beaches in the world. It is located in a perfect enclave, as is the Natural Park of Ses Salines d’Eivissa i Formentera, and it is very easy to reach on foot, by bicycle, motorbike or car.

Its fine white sand, which sometimes has a curious pinkish hue, attracts you from the very first moment. The same can be said of its turquoise waters, where yachts and sailing boats often rest hundreds of metres away.

However, bear in mind that it’s rather small, so you’re likely to have trouble getting your towel in during July and August. Things change in June and September, which are undoubtedly the best months to take a dip in Ses Illetes.

No one will be surprised that it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site or that it is nicknamed “the Caribbean of the Mediterranean”. The cleanliness of its waters will take you by surprise if you haven’t been told about it before.

How to get to Ses Illetes

You can get there by bus, taking the bus that leaves every half hour in the morning from La Savina to Ses Illetes, or you can take your motorbike or car, bearing in mind that there is a car park with more than 1,000 spaces for motorbikes and almost 400 spaces for cars. You also have the option of taking a boat to take you there, as is the case of Barca BahĂa, which leaves from the port of La Savina and takes you to both Ses Illetes and the island of S’Espalmador, where you can bathe in spectacular unspoilt beaches.
