The Costa de la Luz is one of the favourite places to spend the summer, and in addition to the marvellous beaches, there is the exquisite gastronomy of Andalusia. One of these beaches in the south of Spain, Playa de Roche, can be found in Conil de la Frontera, Cadiz.
Crystal-clear, crystal-clear, azure blue water, under which the fine golden sand is transparent and tinges the beach with gold… With a length of 2 kilometres and a width of about 40 metres, Roche beach is a beautiful coastline surrounded by elegant villas in the Roche urbanisation, an ideal beach for families, perfect for simply relaxing and enjoying a pleasant day in the sun and fresh water. It is for this reason, as well as the pleasant temperatures, that the best time to spend a few days there is in summer. However, thanks to its great conditions (wind and excellent waves depending on the weather) it is also a good beach for outdoor sports such as surfing, windsurfing and bodyboarding, so we can enjoy the coast of Conil all year round.
Despite its size, Roche beach does not lose its charm compared to the beautiful coves and beaches that open up around it, and is a reference point for holidaymakers in the area. Even so, and fortunately for the people of CĂĄdiz, the coast of Conil can boast more than ten beaches and natural coves on a coastline of more than 14 kilometres, among which are the cove of Roche or Poniente, the cove of Aceite, the beach of Bateles or Torre del Puerco, very close to Roche. It would be difficult to single out one of them, as each one has its own particular charm, but they all share the common feature of having excellent conditions.
Going to the beaches of the coast of Conil is to reconnect with nature, enjoy an unbeatable climate and a perfect environment to relax with the family or to practice sport with friends. Haven’t you planned your next holidays yet?
