The nudist beach of los patos in tenerife

Playa de los Patos Tenerife
What do you think if we start the week getting to know a beautiful Spanish beach? After spending a few days getting to know some of the best beaches on the planet, we felt like returning to our country, a place that has nothing to envy to other corners of the world as far as beaches are concerned.

This time we would like to take you to Tenerife, specifically to the Orotava Valley, a beautiful enclave in the foothills of Mount Teide. There you’ll find Playa de los Patos, an almost deserted sandy beach very popular with nudists. Would you like to know more about this beautiful beach? Then don’t miss out on what we’ll tell you below!

A black sand beach

With a length of 1,000 metres and a width of 45 metres, Playa de los Patos is characterised by its dark sand, which is normal in this area of volcanic origin. The colour of the sand contrasts with the intense blue of its waters, offering a truly beautiful landscape.

Practically deserted

As we have just mentioned, Playa de los Patos is practically deserted. This is due to the fact that it is a sandy area that is difficult to access as it is located on steep terrain. However, for nudists it is an ideal place to be in contact with nature and the waves. It is also a perfect place for surfers and for those who enjoy peace and quiet.

You have to be prepared

It’s so isolated that you won’t find any bars or beach bars nearby, so it’s best to stock up on food and drink if you’re planning to spend the day here. Below is our gallery, where you can find more images of Playa de los Patos in Tenerife. Don’t miss it!
