After telling you about the cove of Sant Francesc de Blanes, a town on the Costa Brava, we’re looking forward to discovering more of our country’s beautiful beaches, of which there are many! That’s why today we’re going to move to the Region of Valencia, where you can find thousands of spots that are well worth a visit.
One of them is La Granadella, a cove in the Marina Alta, in the municipality of JĂĄvea, near the cape of La Nao. It guards the mouth of two ravines densely populated with Aleppo pines, at the bottom of which the dazzling presence of greenish waters and a dense wooded setting stand out. It is one of the few spaces left free of urbanisations on the Valencian coast, so it should be a must-see if you pass through the area.
Beautiful waters and wild nature
This small redoubt of crystalline waters stands out for its crystal clear waters and its exuberant, almost wild nature. Only 20 metres wide, this Alicante paradise is sure to captivate you. It is also ideal for scuba diving.

Despite its paradisiacal beauty, don’t think that you won’t find any services in this cove, quite the contrary! In La Granadella, you will find maritime surveillance, sanitary post, identification of the state of the sea, shower, footbath, buoyage, walkway, deckchairs and shade, toilets, floating platform, parking, public telephone, beach bar and restaurant. Can you ask for anything more? Yes, this cove has been awarded the Blue Flag every year.
Access
To access the beach there is a steep road that, little by little, reveals the hidden beauty of the beach. It is taken from the Cabo de la Nao road, approximately two kilometres before reaching it.
