The spectacular beach of benijo in tenerife

Benijo Tenerife
The other day we told you about some of the best nudist beaches in Tenerife. Well, today we want to focus on one of them, as we think it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Canary Islands. We are referring to Benijo beach.

Located in the north of Tenerife, and more specifically in the Anaga Rural Park, this black sand beach offers a unique landscape that is well worth seeing if you are lucky enough to be on the island. Would you like to find out more about this beautiful beach? Then pay close attention to what we have to tell you below!

Wonderful views

As we were saying, Benijo beach is black sand, although you can also find gravel. The best thing about this place is that from here you can enjoy wonderful views of the Roques de Anaga. In fact, it is one of the best spots in Tenerife from which to watch the sunset.

An isolated beach

Another of the charms of this beach is its isolation, which has meant that it has remained practically untouched. Located in the town of Taganana, it does not offer any kind of service, although there are restaurants and a kiosk nearby. It is also important to bear in mind that access is more complicated than other beaches on the island.

A beach that can be dangerous

The only bad thing about this place is that, due to its strong waves, bathing can be dangerous, so you should be very careful, especially if you visit it with children. On the other hand, we recommend that you visit it at low tide, as it loses a bit of its charm at high tide. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of this spectacular Canarian beach. Don’t miss it!
